How do You Minister to Others?

“Through serving others you receive amazing rewards. I have some sisters who just like to have a companionship with me, or others they need help with housework.  Some like to go for walks together.  Look for inspiration on how you can be of service to others, and it might not be those who are on your list.  It could be a neighbor.  I like to weed, bake bread, and do crafts and show others how to do them.  It’s important just to let them know that you care about them and be aware of what you can do for them”.  ~Cheryl Delavan

How Ministering has Blessed My Life

“I work from home. I’m an introvert. I tend to avoid a lot of get-togethers because initially I feel uncomfortable. After COVID lockdowns, I think it was even harder for me to venture out. I had grown so used to being by myself. Our RS had a Ladies Night Out program where we were invited to learn how to do watercolor painting. I have always wanted to learn, but I really was afraid of failing. I pushed myself to go to the event, and my sweet ministering sister came over and sat next to me.  She is an art teacher. She didn’t paint anything herself that night but sat next to me encouraging me and guiding me. I felt so much love and acceptance that night. I don’t know if she realized how hesitant I had been to come, but her tender care blessed me that night.”  ~Terri Reid
